Now you're just toying with me.

And it's totally working.

Little Isvan, do you want to be like your Viking forebears and visit North America? Instead of living in crude shelters on the coast of Newfoundland, you can come to the exciting megalopolis that is New York City, where you will enjoy cuddling, snuggling, the finest cat food available at our neighborhood Petco, and the occasional catnip treat. You will also have a big sister. A REALLY big one...who is very much accustomed to running the show around here, and...

...I think I just found the flaw with this whole plan. It weighs 15 pounds and its name is Ella. And it does NOT want a brother.

Sigh.

Oh, I understand that. The only way we even thought we could try to introduce a new cat in the house was by keeping one of Pims' kids.

But I'm starting to worry, she seems to loathe them these days. Either they're chasing her or she's chasing them, with much growling and hissing. Isvan gets the brunt of it, poor sweetheart, but I suspect he is a little uppity.

At least the family who bought him are adorable and seem to know what they're doing. He'll have a good life, I think.
