Don't forget to look up!

Look at these pretty things!

They're little cards with Lin's photos on them. These are just a few of them, with Camilla's beautiful daughter Ada, and Pims, and me at Dromedar, and my brother all Munchesque. So cool!

The cards are nice on the other side, as well. 'Don't forget to look up', they say. And it's true. You mustn't spend your life staring down at the asphalt. Up is where the birds are, and canopies, and sky, and spires.

- But what do you do with them, my Pan asked.

Stupid question! I don't have to do anything with them. But if I were a business woman, I would hand them out at meetings, confidently and with a smile.

- Here's my card. Just follow the instructions.

Those are lovely! And the last few posts, too. I can't believe your grandmother had to walk that path every day as a child! How scary.

Tone, you must tell Laini about opening the christmas decorations while your house was burning!

I love those cards, and I firmly believe that the world would be a better place if people gave out cards like that at meetings instead of real business cards.

You write beautifully in English! If I ever learn Norwegian, I would probably both write it and speak it like a developmentally disabled hedgehog.

My cat doesn't like canned tuna, either. She will tolerate no less than the most expensive food available at the pet store, and would probably prefer it if I just threw an entire fresh Alaskan salmon on the floor and let her have at it. ;)
